Hey,
The "drive by" song is more of a story than a personal expression....it's told through the eyes of a kid who doesn't want the dog to get shot...and tries to barter with the man upstairs in haste...which I'm sure we've all done...and the requests are usually off the wall...I kinda dig that song and it's story...then again, it probably wasn't written as a career defining moment...just a happy little diddy....
