Toad means so very much to me. I could hardly even explain it. I live in Santa Barbara and have for most of my life. I always hear them in the car driving around. Glen Phillips would have to be the definitive snag sensitive new age guy. His wife is so very lucky as are all his daughters. I realize hero worship is lame but he's about the best archetype of man I can find out there in the rock world. Rob Zombie really does something quite contrary to my higher self or at least what the adult part of my psyche wants for my inner child. Yet hes the proverbial horny devil capricorn that gets me going.I have to see what Glenns sign is. I still cant explain what toad means to me its like heaven. I want to see things in that way. I don't have to paint some dark picture for my life do I? And I don't have to worry about this shadow always there ready to jump and get me either. That what it seems like when people are so uncynical and trusting. Like they're hiding something. I want to trust myself and not listen to doubts people throw at me.
