Well, well, I have been checking out Lapdog - downloading anything they'll post on the Web - and I have to say what a fantastic sound!
I now know where Toad got their unique sound, it certainly wasn't from Glenn Philips.
I know this blasphemy here on these pages but I think Lapdog is far more enjoyable than Glenn is. Maybe because I like guitar rock I don't know.
Don't get me wrong I still like Glenn's music but it simply doesn't pull me in like Lapdog or the old Toad stuff. I realize Glenn wrote much of TTWS material but it was the band that made it sweet music.
So what do you think about that?
